1. Keep your mind active and alert by learning new things

Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks! If you keep learning new things, your mind will stay sharp. You will continue to advance and have new and exciting experiences.

Expanding your mind and trying new things means you will also meet new people. One of these new people could be the perfect love match you’ve been looking for.

The doors will open for you; it will attract new opportunities, perhaps even an exciting new job.

2. Love and treat yourself as well as you treat others

Most of the time, we treat others like royalty and completely ignore our own needs. We put everyone else first. While it is great to be a good wife, friend, sister, or mother, we must remember that we are important too.

Ignoring your own needs can make you feel deprived and abandoned. You may feel like no one cares about you, and your self-esteem may suffer. And worst of all, you may start to resent the people you love the most.

Your loved ones may seem insensitive or selfish. But chances are they are completely unaware of how you really feel, or your needs are not being met. That means it’s up to you to do that yourself.

So while you care for and serve everyone else, remember to set aside some time for yourself. You also need love. You need to have fun, feel nurtured and important. Loving and caring for yourself makes you feel happy. It will lift your energy and your mood.

Make sure you do something wonderful for yourself every day! Take time for a few minutes of silence, a bubble bath, prepare yourself a special meal or enjoy dinner at your favorite restaurant; buy yourself some flowers

When you treat yourself well, you feel happy and satisfied. This energy will radiate out into the world and positively affect the attitudes of those around you.

3. Decide what is really important to you

Daily life can be very busy and hectic. When those feelings of overwhelm and frustration arise, take a minute to stop and ask yourself, ‘what is really important to me?’ What activities enrich my life and make it better? What activities and behaviors wear me out and make me depressed?

Be sure to allow time to do the things you enjoy doing. These activities will make you feel happier, loved and appreciated, and help you realize that ‘YOU’ matter. The joy you feel will lift your spirits and increase your self-confidence.

Your ‘happy’ energy will attract the people and things you want to you. You may finally meet that special new partner, be offered the perfect job or business opportunity, perhaps be attracted by the chance to take that dream vacation you’ve always wanted.

The happiest ‘You’ will begin to manifest the relationships, success, and abundance necessary to have and live a life you absolutely love! Self improvement, personal growth and loving yourself are some of the most rewarding things you can do.

5. Live in a state of gratitude and appreciation.

Be grateful and appreciate who you are, how you feel, and what you have. Bless and appreciate your loved ones, your friends, your job or business, your health, your success, and anything else that brings joy and happiness to your life.

Create a list of how abundance appears in your life. Recognize even the simplest expressions of abundance: your home, your car, your pets; your dirty dishes…means you have food to eat!

Blessed your bills… it means you have a house, money and the things you want in life. Bless the mess left after a party or family gathering… it means you have family and friends who love you.

Joy and appreciation carry the highest vibrational frequencies of all our emotions. When you live and radiate these wonderful energies into the world around you, you will attract the things you want most and create the life of your dreams.
