Homeschool World History
Your homeschool world history plan is one of the most exciting aspects of your homeschool curriculum. Digging into World History is a homeschool world history curriculum that’s written to the student, making it easy for you to be as involved or as hands-off as you want to be with your students. Every lesson is 1-2 pages in length and includes easy-to-understand information about people, places and events in world history. In addition, key terms are highlighted and colorful map symbols are used to help students focus on the most important aspects of each lesson. There are also extra ideas, resources, video links and worksheets to encourage deeper study and learning.

These resources include a world geography book, a book of the week, reading assignments and extra activities. The reading assignments can be done independently or as a group read aloud. The book of the week can be listened to on an audio CD or DVD and can be used in place of a history textbook. Other extra activities can be used with a history book or on their own, including creating an historical timeline, watching a video, taking a weekly quiz and completing an activity sheet.
