The fitness business is getting bigger and bigger these days, whether the market is becoming more health conscious or just playing to their vanity, people are much more interested in their fitness now than ever before. Here are a few things to focus on to steer your fitness marketing business in the right direction.

We all have goals for our businesses. A mission statement as some people would say. Get in the habit of keeping those goals in sight every day. Spend the first five minutes of each day reviewing those goals and making sure they’re up to date. Get one, bookmark it, create a new one, add it to your list. It is much easier to achieve all your goals if you keep them in sight.

Everyone likes to get something for nothing, and word of mouth/positive feedback is one of the best ways to make your business shine like a shining star. Any blocks of time you haven’t filled with paying clients should be filled with free workout sessions or guest passes to your gym (depending on the type of fitness business you own). Not only will the word get out about how much better your business is than others, but it has the potential to turn those giveaways into paying customers. Free advertising and new paying customers! What a concept!

Of course you already have a website. Make sure that the pages of your site are loaded with your main keywords, placed in a way that they have a natural flow in the content. Also make sure the keywords are somewhere in the titles (at least your top three)

Once you’ve got everything set up, make sure you have links set up to get to those pages through other pages related to the site on the Internet. However, make sure it all makes sense. There’s no point in linking from a site in Florida, when you’re in Michigan!

Pictures speak louder than words, so make sure you have plenty of client before and after photos on your site. I could tell you all day long that if you follow my program, you’ll lose pounds in weeks and turn fat into muscle faster than anything you’ve ever seen before, but let’s be real, most people have an “I’m going to believe it when I see it.” ” attitude. Beat them all the way by having those photos and testimonials out in the open for all to see.

Online classifieds, like Craigslist, are a great tool to use these days. Load ads every day, methodically with simple, catchy headlines, before and after photos, and links to your website.

I’m sure you’ve seen those great sales motivation books, or how to get over yourself and encourage yourself to read hard novels; normally you would just walk past them, but have you ever thought of picking one up and reading it? Give it a try. There are some really cool marketing and social skills you can learn by reading these.

Have a flow for your business and do your best not to break it. Everything has a system, just like your business. Take a close look at everything that needs to be done each day, list it all, and discover the most efficient way to get all these things done each day. This is now your daily system. Learn it, implement it, live it.

Save yourself some money. Indians and early settlers used the barter system for years, believe it or not; It works Let’s say you have a client who is looking for a part-time job after school, think about changing things up a bit in situations like this. Offer to trade your services for theirs. Instead of hiring an assistant to run your errands, trade in the free membership for the part-time student errand. This kills two birds with one stone.
