It’s the middle of the day. You go inside to look at your hermit crabs and discover that they are locked up together. You wonder, why are my hermit crabs locked up together? Well, there is an easy explanation for this. Your crabs are locked together because they are fighting. Fighting over a shell they both want and only one can have.

Your crabs are united because one crab saw a shell it liked and decided it wants it as its new shell. When a crab decides that there is a shell that he wants to have, he will decide to fight for it. He knows that he wants this shell for himself and is determined to get it. So, he takes what he wants, whether or not there’s another hermit crab in it or not. He will decide to kill the other crab that is in the shell and take the shell from him, because he wants it for himself. That’s why your crabs are locked together. When they fight, the crab that wants the shell will climb on the hermit crab in the tank and try to rip his claws off, so that he can’t defend himself when the first crab pulls him out of the shell. Here’s how and why your hermit crabs are cooped up together.

It’s not a pretty sight when you see your crabs locked up, because it usually means they will fight to the death. Now, if you’re there when it happens, you can usually try to separate them so they don’t fight anymore and hope neither of them got hurt. These crabs can be very selfish, and when they see something they want, they are determined to get it. It’s like there’s a million dollars in that shell, and no matter what’s at stake, they’re going to get that shell. Most of the time, the crab that wants the new shell wins the fight, and the other crab ends up being killed or torn apart.

Once your crabs are attached, the only thing you can try to do is pull them apart. It’s not a good idea to keep them in the same cage, because you risk your crabs coming back together and the fight continuing. Make sure they are completely separate and in different tanks, or you’ll just wake up and find your crabs are back together or one of them is dead.

The best thing you can do to prevent your hermit crabs from becoming entangled is to have a large number of shells in the tank or cage, along with varying sizes. This will usually prevent the crabs from becoming entangled in a shell. There are some crabs out there who are tied up and determined to get what they want no matter what the cost, and some crabs will end up locked up together because of it. You can have 50 of the same shell, but if your hermit crab has decided it wants the one that already has a crab, it will do whatever it takes to get this shell. There are only a few out there, who don’t care. That’s why no matter what you do, your crabs can end up locked up together. The only other option you have is to have them somewhere where you can keep a close eye on them. Then if your crabs are locked together, you can try to permanently separate them. Just try to watch carefully and do whatever it takes to keep your hermit crabs from getting tangled together.
