I am so happy and grateful now that I have this wonderful opportunity to share my knowledge on a topic of How do I find time alone for my husband and myself? Let me first tell you a little about myself. I am a wife of 27 years and a mother of 4 children. I have my daughter who is 4.5 years old, a 3 year old son and 11 month old twins. With that said, let’s begin. I will share 2 easy steps that you could implement in your life right away.

First step. The first and most important thing I say is that you organize your day before it begins. The reason for this is that by organizing the night before, you have plenty of time to find some activities for your children; make a list of the things that you will need to do this day no matter what and once you get up in the morning, you will be ready to continue with your plan and without wasting time!

This brings us to the second step, where do you write all those things and activities? In my case I have an organizer in a nice leather folder where I can change interiors (like Day-Timer). You can find them at stores like: Staples, OfficeMax, Walmart, Kmart, sometimes CVS and Rite Aid have them too. There are many different ones, so choose the one you like the most so that it brings you joy and desire to use it. I use 2 pages a week, it gives me enough space for everything I need and I can see the whole week at once.

By doing these 2 steps every day, it’s much easier to see what time you have during the week and schedule time alone with your loved one. Of course, there is much more to this, but I think this is a great place to start. And in the end please enjoy your time with your family every second you have, time flies fast and all you will have at the end are your memories and experiences!
