Today’s article will clear up a lot of missing information that many people have regarding the latest iPhone 4g. In June 2010, the Apple company produced the most popular release of its iPhone which is actually called “iPhone 4” instead of “Apple iPhone 4g”. Many people rushed in and put their money on the table as they simply wanted and upgraded the Apple phone. On the other hand, many were uneasy once they found out that the latest version of Apple’s iPhone is simply not a 4g cell phone.

Now, let’s explain 4g. The word “4g” actually denotes “the fourth version or generation”. It is true that this is the fourth version of the iPhone, which makes it easy to understand how everyone is confused and know this as the new iPhone 4g from Apple. When many people talk about 4g, they really mean the ultra-fast fourth version mobile wireless data transfer system. Simply speaking, this often refers to how quickly your cell phone network can download and upload files. 4G is also known as LTE and these wireless networks are guaranteed to be up to 4 times faster compared to the current 3rd generation networks that many people are currently working with. Since many people go to their cell phone company to supply their network connection, it is understandable that they are incredibly anxious for their cell phone provider to build their system to be 4g compatible.

Let me clarify something for you now. The new iPhone 4 will continue to work only with the AT&T network and you should know that the AT&T network is definitely not a 4g or LTE system. However, they are currently in the process of testing their modern 4g wireless network and have “officially” announced that sometime in 2011 they will launch their new 4g system to their customers. Exactly what does this mean for the numerous folks who previously rushed to pick up Apple’s iPhone 4? Well, this probably means that Apple will release a different version of the iPhone that will likely be a 4g complaint shortly after AT&T unveils its new 4g cellular network sometime next season.

Many people are upset with Apple for not supporting the latest variation of Apple’s iPhone 4g, but that’s Apple for you. They could have pretty easily made their newer, more up-to-date iPhone 4 so that it could work with the LTE wireless network when AT&T lets it be on the market and then just not. They have already positioned themselves to sell twice the number of cell phones. You can be sure that people will probably run away and get the latest iPhone as soon as the Apple company releases one designed to work with their LTE system. Is it possible that this is a misleading marketing strategy on Apple’s part or just a very good business decision? Let you decide for yourself. Personally, my thinking is that it seems to be a bit of both.
