Pinball tables have been around for many years. Many remember them from arcades as a way to spend their free time. The first tables did not have pinball machines and were all mechanical, this of course had limitations as the tables were very simple. Later, with electronics he opened up a whole new world of pinball. Now there were digital sound effects and lights on the playing field. This made it more fun to play and also attracted more attention from viewers.

It was in 1947 that pinball machines were introduced to pinball by Gottlieb’s “Humpty Dumpty” table. From there new features were added, multiballs, ramps, LEDs showing scores with animated images.

Irina Pinball was created with Visual Pinball and tries to capture the feel of the old pinball machines, but also combines features familiar from today’s pinball tables. Multiball’s, skillshot, extra balls, ramps, kickback, the table has more than 1000 lights. There are also plenty of mechanical sound effects like bells, bumpers, and kickers. The game is fast, maybe a bit difficult, but it is full of surprises! Special things happen later in the game and can be quite a rewarding experience.

The table is built around an ice skating theme and the music consists of classical music tunes, making it a unique game. The objective, as in other pinball games, is to beat the highest score, here one is greeted with a celebration and a gold medal.
